PREmenstrual syndrome = physical or emotional symptoms that typically occur about 5 to 11 days before a woman starts her monthly menstrual cycle. The symptoms usually stop when menstruation begins, or shortly thereafter.
The most common physical symptoms include:
•Breast tenderness
•Clumsiness
•Constipation or diarrhea
•Food cravings (all that comes in your head is food food and food)
•Headache
Other symptoms include:
•Confusion
•Difficulty concentrating
•Fatigue
•Feelings of sadness or hopelessness
•Feelings of tension, anxiety, or edginess
•Forgetfulness
•aggressive behavior, with outbursts of anger toward self or others
•Loss of sex drive (may be increased in some women)
•Mood swings
•Sleep problems (sleeping too much or too little)

so when you feel pain DURING menstruation at your abdominal part, that pain is not what we call PMS, honey. IT'S what we called as PERIOD PAIN or in other words SENGGUGUT. it has nothing to do with PMS. AT ALL. nama pun PREmenstrual SYNDROME. so it has to occur BEFORE MENSTRUATION.
all this scientific terms is making me head go BOOM!
lets put it this way:
SPM PRE-trial = occurs before the actual SPM TRIAL
hence, PRE-menstrual syndrome = symptoms that occur BEFORE your actual MENSTRUATION.
