ANOTHER GLOOMY DAY

assalamualaikum.

something doesn't feel right.
it's like as if i did something wrong but i'm not aware of what's the thing that i did wrong.
it's like turning 19 all over again.

Ya Allah, help me endure this.
if there really is something i did wrong, please forgive me.
and if my wrong is to another sister or brother,
please open up their heart to forgive me for whatever i did wrong.

:)

INSECURITY KILLS THE INSECT

assalamualaikum and whaddup!

i must say, i'm the most insecure person on earth. i'm not sure why, but it surely is disturbing.

1) sometimes when i go out, i always feel that there's something that's not right whether it's my clothes, my face or my whole look for the day..

2) when i enter a store, and i get that weird stare, i would start checking out myself if there's something wrong. to make myself feel better, i will positively think that probably they're just looking around and bam! there i was.

3) when i pass by a group of people and they suddenly laugh or smirk, i always think that they're laughing at me. and i'll said to myself  "i know my defects. please dont laugh.." even though they were actually laughing at something else.

4) i think that i annoy people when they stop talking to me, or stop texting, or replying me. even though there's a whole lot of other reasons to that. i told ya. it's my insecurities..

5) and oh.. i always think that many people dont really like me that they will always avoid me because i talk too much and they dont wanna listen to my stories because it's too boring. i usually stop talking when i get that vibe.

there's a whole lot more of this. i feel self insecure almost everytime. THIS has to stop.

KK VACAY - SUPER!

Day 3 - January 23, 2013

rise and shine!
couldn't really sleep last night because it was too cold even though the room is not air-conditioned.
kept on waking up and finally switched off the fan.

Maggi in cup for breakfast before walking to Poring to enjoy some hot spring and of course the famous canopy walk.
we were not allowed to take photos on the canopy unless you pay RM5 for each camera you used.
rebellious teenagers as we are, we didn't pay but girls gotta be girls.
dozens of photos taken on the canopy and we didn't even pay for it.
i know. we were such badasses.
*insert badass pose*

we had luch at Mama Cafe again before heading back to KK.
we supposed to meet up with Ann, Kele and Eric again at KFC but apparently the electricity suddenly went out.
we didn't wanna have cold meal because we were super hungry.
so yeah..

we said goodbye to Ann, Kele and Eric.
and oh! Ann brought her cute little brother along.
he was super friendly.
i love that kid. he hugged me before we went back.
Boboy is so huggable!

Roomates! (Ann on the left and Sofia on the right)
That's Boboy! see how huggable he is??

Kele, Ann, Sofia, Muni, Eric..
Boboy and me!

we stopped by for some durian because it was super cheap.
RM3 per kilo!
i ate one whole durian and a half.
bet you can guess how i slept that night..
heheh..

the upside down house was just by the roadside on our way back to KK.
we passed by it on our way to Kundasang but Roza and Sofia planned that we went there on our way back.
the house was really upside down.

see?
now how did that get up there?

front door

roza and sofia didn't go in with us because they said they went there so many times that they memorised every angle of the house.

everything about the house is upside down.
ALL the stuff in the house are upside down.
i cannot show how the inside looks like because no camera is allowed in the house.
ok.
imagine youe house is upside down.
yep.
now you get the picture.

the heaviest thing in the house is the sewing machine and yes. it is upside down.
the lady in the house said all the stuff are attached to the ceiling with nails, screws and some are with glue.
wait, floor? ceiling? ok now im confuse.

then we went to roza's rental house to help her pack.

we headed to Perdana Park later to watch the fountain orchestra.
munirah was so excited.
not that i wasnt excited but i was trying to record the fountain in action with my phone.
but it ended up with munirah voice.
in my video.
=='

i could say it is a perfect dating spot for couples. oh! and perfect spot for a marriage proposal.
awwwww.. <3 nbsp="" p="">
note that future husband!

we went back home early that night because everyone was tired and another long day planned ahead.
sooo ummm.. good night!

WHOSE DAUGHTER ARE YOU AGAIN?

assalamualaikum and whaddup!

visited my paternal grandma after Asar prayer. every time we came to visit, she'll always ask;

"anak sapa tok?" (whose daughter is this?)

i'll smile and answer:

"anak amid, nek.." (amid's daughter..)

it happens everytime.

KK VACAY - KUNDASANG!

DAY 2 - January 22, 2013

assalamualaikum and whaddup!

gotta wake up extra early because uncle joe had to catch the traffic rush to his office.
we followed him there because we promised to meet at 7am for our trip to kundasang!

yyyeeepp.. 7 am lah sangattt.. they arrived around 9.30 am.
so uncle joe brought us to the nearby cafe for breakfast. we ordered baked beans an egg!
my favorito!
despite the american breakfast we had, check this out:

the new american way to spell service i guess

the scenery along the way to kundasang was superb!
can't capture much on my crappy phone though. but roza's new htc phone ada banyak!
heheh..
and also sofia's dslr.

it's the peak of the highest mountain in southeast asia!

camwhoring in the car is a must!
we didnt use the car aircond because they have aircond outside! it was sooooooo cold that i actually shivered. fresh air i tell you! until a truck passed by. =='

our first stop was the kinabalu park to see a clearer view of the kinabalu peak. roza said that this is the point where all the hikers start hiking up the mountain.

the peak shy shy cat pulak...
next stop: strawberry garden! the entrance was only RM1.
unfortunately there were no strawberries. we entered just because roza told me there were flowers inside.
 orchids specifically.
and i get super excited and agreed to go inside.
to find out there were no orchids. =='

imagine this with red ripe strawberries....

from the strawberry garden, we went to the war memorial park.
well its a memorial park so lotsa memorial stuff? i just knew that sabah was once dijajah by australian.
i didnt really take much photos with my phone there because sofia, my roomate while i was in labuan brought her dslr so most of the photos are still with her.

im not sure what it means but i think it's kinda deep..

layan jadi minah ostolia kejap xsalah nak? ahaks!

view of Kundasang from a balcony at the park

oh ya.. as we arrive at the memorial park, there were one group of good looking guys. they were saying "KL" when we passed by.
im not sure whether they thought we were from KL or they were trying to tell us they're from KL because they have the KL slang.

from the memorial park we went to Desa Cattle where we met Ann, also my roomate in labuan. memang janji nak jumpa cos she lives in Ranau which is not so far away from kundasang.

moo!

baa!
we were super hungry so we went to meet Eric, Ann's friend and also Kele, my negihbour back in labuan.

after the superb lunch, we proceeded to Tagal Luanti.
it's one of the main attraction in Ranau.
a must-go-place if you come to Ranau.
Sofia told me that we were going for a fish massage.
but she forgot to tell me the size of the fish that's gonna "massage" us.
it's as big as my arm i tell you!
i didn't dare to get in.
no.
NEVER.

then we went to Sabah Tea plantation. that's where they plant, and process the tasty Sabah Tea. duh~

and then we were hungry again and we went to Mama Cafe for an early dinner.
Eric and Kele created a new religion where they recited their prayer (before meal) by snapping photos of the food.
hahah!
Eric made me think of the people in Africa who can't afford to buy food because i didn't finish mine.
sorry but i was just too full.

we hung out for a while before leaving to our lodge house we rented earlier. it was located a few steps away from Poring Hot Spring.

we slept very early that night because we were very tired from the long day we had earlier. you know what, we didn't need to switch on the fan or aircond because the fresh air outside cools the room entirely.

phew! what a long day.. looking forward for the next day!

xoxo,
