Heyyyyy its the last day of 2015!
I made it through the wilderness~~
Somehow i made it throooough~~
hahah okay that was random.
could say that this year is a roller coaster ride.
the one with the scary peak where you go up veeeery slowly,
then you go zooom!
then comes the triple loops,
it didnt end there.
the track even goes underwater through a dark tunnel.
phew!
im glad THAT almost over.
at least for this year lah.
im supposed to do my literature review
and my lesson plan for spm chemistry and physics.
but
i have to do this first.
before i forgot.
i made a to-do list earlier this year
a few of em didnt get to be crossed out this year
which means i have to bring it forward to 2016.
same goes to my to-buy list.
so 2015.
got my first job. checked.
got my first salary. checked.
pursue masters degree because i promised myself if i didnt find a permanent job by june, i'll do that. checked.
got my first car. checked.
2015 taught me to be strong
and patient
and to believe
and stay positive
and just go with the flow
and not overthink
and that whatever you do, He is The Almighty.
When He commands be, and it is.
He knows everything and i mean EVERYTHING.
what's waiting for me in 2016?
a new job as a private tutor
a program im managing (not really)
iza's wedding in february
a bachelorette party for shikin
my proposal defense
a trip to Sydney (may boss approve my holiday)
SHIKIN'S WEDDING AAAAAAAAAHHHHH!
wow that's already a lot.
well i think i better stop now.
got a thesis to write
got a call to make
got slides to prepare!
so thank you 2015!
and HELLO 2016!
gotta start my 2016 to-do list as well

HOW TO END A STORY
So munirah shared a joke last night which went like this:
A man was sick and tired
of going to work every day while his wife stayed home.
He wanted her to see what he went through so he prayed:
'Dear Lord:
I go to work every day and put
in 8 hours while my wife
merely stays at home.
I want her to know what
I go through
So, please allow her body to
switch with mine for a day.
God, in his infinite wisdom,
granted the man's wish.
The next morning, sure enough,
the man awoke as a woman...
he arose, cooked breakfast
for his mate, awakened the kids,
set out their school clothes,
fed them breakfast,
packed their lunches,
drove them to school,
came home and picked up the dry cleaning,
took it to the cleaners
and stopped at the bank to make a deposit,
went grocery shopping,
then drove home to put away the groceries.
Then it was already 1 PM
and he hurried to make the beds,
do the laundry, vacuum, dust, sweep
and mop the kitchen floor,
ran to the school to pick up the kids
and got into an argument with them on the way home,
set out milk and cookies
and got the kids organized to do their homework.
Then set up the ironing board
and watched TV while he did the ironing.
At 4:30 he began peeling potatoes
and washing vegetables for salad,
breaded the pork chops
and snapped fresh beans for supper.
After supper, he cleaned the kitchen,
ran the dishwasher,
folded laundry,
bathed the kids and put them to bed.
At 9 PM he was exhausted
and, though his daily chores weren't finished,
he went to bed where he was expected to make love,
which he managed to get through without complaint.
The next morning, he awoke
and immediately knelt by the
bed and said: -
Lord, I don't know what I was thinking.
I was so wrong to envy my wife's being able to stay
home all day
Please, Oh! Please,
let us trade back.. Amen!'
The Lord, in his infinite wisdom, replied:
"My son, I feel you have learned your lesson
and I will be happy to change things back to the way they were.
But you'll have to wait nine months, though.
You got pregnant last night"
Then in labour room after the baby is born
God says:
You've done a good job keeping your fetus healthy
and bringing him into this world,
and see how adorable he is.
And only you have the breast milk ...
I shared it with Dol
He claimed that the joke was dark
He had an ending for the joke which sounds like this:
He claimed that the joke was dark
He had an ending for the joke which sounds like this:
the guy learnt his lesson
but no
he's trapped in that female body for another 9 months
the guy then felt tortured both physically and mentally
he tried to scream and tell his kids it's him, their dad
but none of them believe him
even his 'husband'-self thinks it was a joke
in the end,
he went nuts
torutred
but no one knows.
I told him that was wayyyy too twisted
So i told him my version of the ending:
God says he needs to breastfeed
so after breastfeeding ends
he's be himself again
learnt his lesson
and be grateful that he's a guy
and live his life as he is
and
he respects women more
he understands how it feels to be a lady.
The End.
He agreed that my ending was better
Which ending do you like better?
How would you end this story?
