IF I HAVE MY LIFE TO LIVE OVER

I'd like to make more mistakes next time.

I'd relax, I would limber up.

I would be sillier than I have been this trip.

I would take fewer things seriously. I would take more chances.

I would climb more mountains and swim more rivers.

I would eat more ice-cream and less beans.

I would perhaps have more actual troubles but Id have fewer imaginary ones.

You see, I'm one of those people who live sensibly and sanely hour after hour, day  after day.

Oh, I've had my moments, and if I had it to do over again, I'd have more of them.

In fact, I'd try to have nothing else.

Just moments, one after another, instead of living so many years ahead of each day.

I've been one of those persons who never goes anywhere without a thermometer, 

a hot water bottle, a raincoat and a parachute.

If I had to do it again, I would travel lighter than i have.

If I have my life to live over, I would start barefoot earlier in the spring and stay that way later in the fall.

I would go to more dances.

I would ride more merry-go-rounds.

I would pick more daisies!

footnote: this is a poem I found in one of those psychology books while doing my psychology assignment. i just think its so beautiful. this lady sounded like as if she regretted her childhood/teenage life. so, cherish your teenage life as long as you can!!

A FRESH GOOD START :)

Happy 3rd RAMADHAN!!

Alhamdulillah...

i decided to start wearing hijab this Ramadhan.

i know it's kinda late, but it;s never too late to change.

kan kan kan??

:)

i know i should hv started earlier considering it's compulsory as a Muslimah.

but i guess its a fresh start for me to change.

a muslim brother once asked me:

"why aren't you covering your awrah? why don;t you wear a hijab?"

i could not answer the question and remain silent.

i feel bad. but that doesn't stop me from exposing my hair in public.

i had this one dream somewhere this year.

we (family) were sitting on a round table chatting.

my grandma went out of the blue pointing at me an said:

"that's not my grandchild. ALL my grandchildren wear hijab. she's not my grandchild."

i cried as i woke up.

but no, i just thought to myself: it's just a dream.

and continue on with my sin.

Astaghfirullahalazimm...

a few months ago, my cousins started to wear hijab.

everyone around me are wearing them:

cousins, friends, etc.

frankly, i have that uneasy feeling within me hangin around people with hijab.

i mean it feels weird.

dont get me wrong! it's a weird uneasy feeling in a good way.

and that's when i realised.

i'm not ashamed of saying that i'm following today's trend.

but hey, it's a good trend!

dapat pahala lagi yuuuu....!

we have to force ourselves doing something good or else we'll b stuck in the darkness.

eh? cam pelik jak tapi xhal lah.

you get what i mean rite?

i just wanna share my story.

i hope this could be a good start for me.

i know its summer break so i SHOULD have time to write.
but i still havent got my nee laptop. still surveying for the best.
tryna convince my mom to buy a macbook. hewhewhew...

so last 2 weeks i came back from KL.
sending off my brother to college + shopping + hang out with cuzzy!

ok so im here to wish everybody HAPPY RAMADHAN MUBARAK!
may this barakah month be a stepping stone for a hijrah.

ok quick post. am in study mode. yes2.. its the final exam week. *running aroung like crazy*
haihhhhh...

ok so like i would like to propose to the malaysian gov to demolish (eh?) exam-oriented learning system. ok finnnee.. english cam taik. cant think of the right vocab rite now. main motive; nak ngerepak.

my point is exam-oriented learning is sooooooo stressing students out. i would like to propose in-class evaluation. evaluate students during class. i mean pop quiz people POP QUIZ!! that way students will always be prepared and hence lifelong learning could beeeeee..... enhanced? eh! endak ku tauk eh word apa nak guna!

ayah bought me a blackberry phone!

a white one just as i wanted.

am not as excited as i should be..

my phone broke down one month ago..

BUT

my brother's phone looks nothing like a phone  if you know what i mean..

 since he finished school which is like 4 months ago?? 

i feel bad for him but he never really ASKED properly for a new phone.

he would just whine and complain to me..

i on the ohter hand aksed directly for a new phone.

THAT's the different between me and him.

and so i get or should i say i EARNED what i want.

some part of me said that i should give my blackberry to him.

but he doesnt want a blackberry but he wants a HTC instead..

gosh~

so much for being a good sister..

there's this one cousin of mine..

we used to play and actually hang out together when we were younger..

we hung and sometimes he even slept over..

well, his house is only steps away from le gramps'...

and i guess as every one grows up, the bond gets weaker and weaker..

most of us go separate wayss, minding own businesses..

study, work, etc..

and now after all these years,

i think the bond is growing stronger, bit by bit..

he's working here in bintulu and stays at my parents' house..

i never thought that we would hang out again like the old days..

although we dont play like the old days, but we do talk and joke around..

i mean, i love the old days where everyone is less busy, where life is easier and less drama..

p/s: i'm looking forward to andy's cooking! heheh!

A TRIP TO EASTER LAND!!

and so i'm on my midsem break.
not as ecstatic as i should be cos i actually went back to bintulu by force.
i preferred spending my short holiday in kuching.
well at least i have cousins and friends to hang out with... =='
oh well..
one must obey their folks.

but thanks to amy and habib, i had a GREAT TIME last nite.
i mean, even we only hung out at MCD, but still.. better than staying home doing nothing rite?
i didnt expect to get along with habib that fast. i mean it's only my 2nd time meeting him..
amy and habib are so cute together! i know amy's gonna read this.. heheh!
but seriously amy, nang tak 2 cute.. jealous skejap sayaa.. hahah!

anywhoooo..
my most favourite part of the nite is.... drumroll*..... easter land!
amy went to the spring earlier and she told me bout the photo booth and the mini easter land.
so then we actually went there after dinner just to take photos. hahah!
amy has all the photos so i dont have any to be uploaded..
and oh! i bought a new pair of flatsss.. XD

more to come for it's midsem break!

nang 2 3 ari tok saya rasa sangat stress. especially lekak result spm keluar.

ya jwak drama d rumah, 

ya jwak assignment ku mlubo, 

ya jwak urang molah keja copy and paste, 

ya jwak midsem minggu depan, 

ya jwak deadline ku banyak, 

ya jwak trying to put up with people expectation.. 

ehh! 

manyak la keja ku...!

haaa.. sungguh keja ku banyak, masa nak berjimba harus lah ada.. k ngilang stress bahh..hahah!

so like marek ak sepatut date ngn muni. 

plan nya ku ngmbik nya di campus. 

cam ada nak disusey mek duak.. 

tapi kereta nya gak ada sihh.. 

usu make kereta yok, nek us gi pengilan, ndak la aku nak bejalan kaki ngagak nya nak..

so then amy text madah nya nak keluar ngan atul duak amoi, nanyak nak ngekot sikkk.. 

mbak palak ku stress, haruslah aku madah aok dengan semangat nyaaa!

 we started off with lunch kt food gallery.

then mek urang betemu di boxing rink.

it was actually pemilihan nak wakil sarawak silat muay thai d putrajaya bila ka saya sik tauk lah.

pulang ke cerita muay thai gik saya.

tapi seriously yesterday's girl's day out nang really get my mind off EVERYTHING! 

nang balit ke rumah pun x sempat mndik pa indah alu peng tas katil. 

dari statrt saya nangga zizan d tb3, smpe zizan nangga saya tdo.. 

tapi gine2 pun, i have to get back to reality. life must go on. sigh~
