today,
i had a briefing for my internship next june.
what we had to do over the semester break is to search for places to do our internship.
i was thinking to do my internship in a place with kids, so i could observe them.
as much as im not into kids, but watching them kinda make me happy.
weird huh?
so then after the briefing i went for lunch with moon.
as always, i had to wait for her.
=,=
over lunch,
i had to explain to her what do we actually do during internship.
because being a nursing student, they already know their scope of job.
i tried so hard explaining to her.
so i came up with:
"moon, that's the difference between professionals; like nurses, doctor, engineers, teachers, lawyers etc and non-professionals like us. we cannot specify our scope."
moon moon moon... =,=
so then later at night, after my mon-thu routine of watching ARIANA ROSE
i spent time with qaisara and qaireen.
qaisara was showing me her "project" of her pop up story book on little red riding hood.
i helped her narrate the story while she did all the creative stuff.
aaaaaaand the sister wanted one as well.
so i started drawing a flower and little red riding hood for her.
"JieJie, i want wittle wed widing food too!"
somehow i had fun.
because they behaved.
no drama no crying no tantrum no those kinda stuff.
and so i was thinking to myself,
applying my cognitive science knowledge,
by opening a nursery,
and write my own children story book
whatcha think?

FIVE-YEAR OLD COUSIN
i saw my wedges lying in the middle of the room.
i knew it was qaireen's doing.
she was lying on the bed, then pointing towards the shoes;looking at me:
"Jiejie (read: chay-chay), when i'm big enough, i wear your shoes, okay?"
kids say the cutest things.

aiman: *pointing towards zayne* is that zayne?

aiman: he's so chubby!
me: i know right? he's cute and chubby, isnt he cute?
aiman: *nodding his head* how old is zayne?
me: he's one year old. how old are you?
aiman: seven!
me: seven? you're too small for a seven year-old. hahah
then the brother came...
the brother: he's four. he likes the number 7. so he tells everyone that he's 7.
aiman: seven! *started counting with his fingers* one two twee four sis fie seven!
me: aaaah~ so you like seven?
aiman: *nods head* what's your name?
me: my name? fatin.
aiman: fatin? (read with a very thick 'T' sound, like how British people say 'tea')
me: yes.
then aiman walks away. he came back asking for my name again.
aiman: what's your name again?
me: its fatin.
aiman: fatin?
me: yes, fatin.
then zayne said something with his baby language.
aiman: can babies talk?
me: no they cannot.
aiman: why cant they talk?
the brother: you cant talk when were little too, aiman. do you remember?
aiman: *nodding his head*
then i decided to put zayne down on the grass so he could play.
aiman: fatin, do you know that babies cant walk?
me: i know.
aiman: babies cant walk you know.
me: i know. im just putting zayne down so he could learn how to walk. im teaching him to walk so he could play with you. do you wanna play with zayne?
aiman: *nodding his head*
im falling in love with this kid. he's so adorable! so talkative. for once, i dont feel that kids are annoying. looking forward to see him again!
p/s: if only his brother is older..... hmmmmmm
