TODO PARA LA FAMILIA (everything for the family)

nothing beats a weekend spent with le familia.

we ate good food,

we laughed at each other's jokes NON-STOP,

we made fun of each other,

we slept over,

we planned something for the birthday of our BEST AUNT without her knowing because she doesnt really like surprises,

we gathered again the next day,

we brought food over for breakfast,

we ate good food again,

we laughed again,

we cooked lunch together,

we ate good food again,

we laughed again,

we watched Fast & Furious 6, occupying two full rows of the cinema hall,

we ate good food again,

we laughed again,

and in the end,

everyone had a really good time.

it would be more fun if everyone could gather,

which is kinda impossible nowadays because everyone have commitments and/or they are away from home.

cant wait for the Jakarta trip next year!

CHEF AT HOME

just came back from having dinner with amy.

THE BEST I HAD SINCE THE LAST BEST DINNER I HAD!

you see, im not that typical malaysian who by all means must consume rice at least once a day or else they get headache etc.

i can go on without rice for dayssssss..

heheh..

when it comes to western food, i would prefer Italian.

pasta, lasagna, pizza..

i dont know why but i just dig them..

so amy took me to this one restaurant which she claimed to be called : 

Home Cook Chef.

but as we arrived, i asked her again what it was called because the sign clearly said:

Chef At Home

amy and and her confidence. hahah

it was our first time there. amy said the last time she went, it was pack with people.

well it was but we managed to find a table.

so i ordered CHEESY LINGUINE CARBONARA

yessssss..

the cheese attracted me..

i seriously dont know how to describe the taste but it was definitely

cheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeesyyyyyy

and

creeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaamyyyyyyyyyy

and the combination of these two is just so

yummmmmmmmyyyyyyyyyyyyyy

the other food was super awesome.

amy ordered tepanyaki beef with rice and it was not bad.

i love the fact that they serve a very small portion of rice.

i wanted to take a photo of my meal but i suck at taking photos and even if i did take it, it wont look as appetizing as it tastes.

so i urge you people to go there.

you HAVE to eat there!

and so we went to pustaka negeri along with munirah..

as syaza was studying, and i was preparing for my presentation, munirah just stare at her laptop not sure what he was doing..

so i gave her my broadband modem.

ohh  you should have seen the look on her face.

then she only started doing her eye cataract assignment..

in which i ended up explaining to her about the anatomy of human's eye.

how on earth are we supposed to put our life in the hands of this future nurse?!

munirah, i hope you know what you're doing to your patients.

OH GOD..

we had a pretty late lunch at Pizza Hut because we had coupons and munirah just dig discounts.

especially on food.

hmmmmm..

we were arguing on what to order because munirah being herself refused to pay extra on add ons if she wasnt the one who ordered it.

the waitress couldnt help but to laugh.

she wasnt the first one i tell you.

this happened all the time.

this week was a little bit busy. JUST A LITTLE BIT.

i had research methodology midterm exam on tuesday,

a taklimat on final year project on wednesday,

cognitive neuroscience midterm exam on thursday night,

and spent my friday evening at CAIS figuring out how to do our artificial neural network MATLAB assignments..

oh! i just figured that there are SOOOOOO many juniors from HRD program that are good looking!

well we sat for the same cognitive neuroscience paper that night and  being a girly girl i just couldnt help myself from scanning for cutiessss~

ahaks!

speaking of CUTIESSSS~~

i went to The spring with amy just now because she needed to buy a laptop adapter.

then we killed our time in and out of the stores, up and down the escalators, a little bit of grocery shopping for our rumah sewa, then we agreed to hang out The Coffee Bean.

as we arrived at the counter, out of nowhere the lady at the counter shoot,

"kak, he (pointing at one of the workers) said hi."

i didn't hear her the first time but then the other wroker shoot again,

"assalamualaikum."

and i just randomly replied it because replying salam is wajib. (ceyyyyyy...ahaks!)

i never knew im the type of girl that anyone would ever say hi to. i dont know if you were just fooling around but thank you for making me feel good about myself.. :')

so then we drink our ice blended while "looking around" on our wechat..

amy found this SUPER CUTE guy who she claimed to be working at the Nike store.

we came across him our way to the parking. teehee!

amy insisted on me to greet him on wechat.

i wanted to but i was shy.

its not like me to be shy but i am when it comes to guys.

well maybe because i have high insecurity of myself.

i never wanted to do the first move because i was too shy.

too shy because i was never confident of myself when it comes to how i look.

but i will respond to people's move on me! heheh..

i know i shouldnt be but i am.

amy said that's why i never had boyfriends.

i couldnt agree more.

so instead amy greet him.

amy taught me one way how to approach guys on our way back home.

so as we arrived at my place, amy checked her phone and there was a wechat notification!

amy was too anxious to look at it so i checked.

WHAT HAVE I DONE TO MY LIFE?!

dramatic post title huh?

because today is the most unproductive day ever in the history of midterm break for 2nd semester 2nd year!

i woke up early helping mama for a little bit of spring cleaning.

and then we had breakfast while watching TV and that's when the unproductivity started.

we watched TV,

we munch,

we napped.

we even pretended that it was Raya and mama was my guest and i served her Coke.

and the only biskut raya i have is "sempret" whih was actually biskut ais jem.

"sigek jak biskut raya polah tak taun tok?
sempret jak?" - Mama

then mama voiced out her cravings for lamb chop so i suggested that we go out for dinner.

but NO.

it was 7.30 pm and she was napping and i just dont have the heart to wake her up.

so i ended watching Kids Choice Award rerun on MTV and fell asleep.

i woke up at 10.30 pm realising that my life is such a wreck!

the only productive thing i did was helping Amy with her business maths tutorial because i just love solving maths problems!

ngehehe~

so to cover up my unproductive saturday, let me tell you what i've been up to this whole week.

arrived in Bintulu on monday and mama fetched me at the airport.

i was supposed to go the bank to settle some stuff so mama let me used the car for the day and that she'll call if she wanted to go home... from work.

but i ended up staying at home doing my assignment which was due on tuesday.

i stayed up the whole night doing the assignment and only slept for a couple of hours.

i was still awake when mama was about to take off to work.

mama asked whether i wanna use the car that day

but i said no because i need to bayar tidur.

so i managed to bank-hop on wednesday.

settling the unsettled.

  

after i fetched mama from work,

we went to Kak Nur's to see baby Uwais.

he is soooooooo adorable!

i was still on the road on thursday.

i managed to buy breakfast for me and ayah.

i bought 2 nasi lemak which was supposed to be for ayah and me but i ended up eating both. =='

then there's potato-filled spring roll and karipap.

the spring roll was super yummy that i regretted buying only RM1.

i went to do do my passport later at noon for our trip to Jakarta next year for my cousin's wedding. hewhewhew

i went to some doa selamat at my uncle's house that night.

i was being an antisocial: sitting at the corner staring at my phone and smiling.

a makcik/nenek mumbled something like "apa senyum-senyum nangga telipon dari tadik" and stared at me.

i totally ignored her. hahah!

and yesterday, i managed to do some revision since all the unsettled was settled except for cutting my hair short which was supposed to be done today because i have to go back tomorrow.

we went out for dinner with Kak Yot because mama was craving for ketam.

and Kak Yot is soo lurus bendul that she believed every crap that mama and i said. hahah!

kesian Kak Yot.

oh!

dont let me start on my driving experience here in Bintulu!

i'll tell you some other time.

so for now, i need to pack.

APRIL 7TH, 2013: HAPPY 21 MOON!

assalamualikum!

it was SITI MUNIRAH JOHARI 's birthday so we wanted to surprise her.

we supposed to buy a cake and bring it over to her house that morning

unfortunately, she went out with her mom to *Serikin and will only be back by noon.

at least that's what she told Syaza.

because Syaza texted her the night before saying that she wanted to "bring her out" since it's her birthday..

pfffftt..

so changed of plans.

we bought a cake a little bit later.

and we waited at her house until she came back.

her desk was the only one in the tv area

Roza had a headache and she laid down  most of the time

it was way past noon but there's still no sign of muni.

ugh! so Syaza texted her again asking what time will she return?!

she said she will be VERY late and will text Syaza again as soon as she arrived home.

so we decided to went out for lunch.

we told Shen, her housemate to text me if she came back.

we went to McDonald's.

then to Roza's daddy's house.

then we killed time at Syaza's house.

then came a text!

Shen said muni is already home.

Why didnt she text Syaza??!

so we rushed to her house because it was already 4 and Syaza had to fetch Ibu at 5.

Shen asked us to take our time because Muni was still in the shower.

we know Munirah for a very long time. we knew she'll text Syaza after she was done in the shower.

HAHAH!

so we let ourselves in because Shen left the gate unlocked.

we prepared everything while she was still upstairs.

we had to be super fast!

so we brought the cake upstairs and apparently i accidentally blew up the candle because i need to laugh looking at Muni's surprised face. sorry Muni!

we left her with the cake because we were already late to fetch Ibu.

and that was the first time seeing Ibu get mad and it was scary..
